Do I need transcription experience to work for ExecuScribe?
To work as a transcriptionist in our Corporate Division, ExecuScribe requires a minimum of three (3) years of transcription experience, with multiple voices, in the corporate or legal arenas.

How will I be compensated?
Corporate transcriptionists' pay varies depending upon the project. However, most transcriptionists are paid by record time (dictated minutes).

Does ExecuScribe ever sub-contract any work to independent contractors?
If you are an independent contractor, please contact our Human Resource department at jobs@execuscribe.com to submit a bid for your services.

What kind of equipment do I need?
Equipment may vary depending upon the project that you are working on, however, common equipment includes...

  • Internet connection (High Speed or Dial-up connection is acceptable)
  • Windows 2000, ME or XP (Windows 98 is not compatible with our systems)
  • MS Word 2000 or greater
  • Printer
  • Shredder
  • Transcription Equipment. Specific needs will vary by project. Some common equipment used at ExecuScribe include:

  • Tape Transcriber for Standard & Micro size cassette tapes
  • Tape Transcriber for 4-Channel Standard size cassette tapes
  • Digital Transcriber (i.e. C-phone/DVI and Dictaphone compatible)
  • Wav files
  • CD capabilities
